POCATELLO — Now is your chance to comment on the future of history in Pocatello.
On March 21 at 6 p.m. in the Pocatello City Council Chambers, the Pocatello Historic Preservation Commission will host an informal meeting and invites residents to give their input to help the commission create a Historic Preservation Plan. The commission is seeking public comment to identify community historic preservation goals and help establish a common vision.
“We want to know what the public would like to see the commission doing in regards to historic preservation,” said Terri Neu, Staff Liaison. “For example, are there areas they would like to have listed on the National Register of Historic Places? The public’s feedback will help us to strengthen our existing historic preservation program.”
Residents who are unable to attend the meeting are invited to submit written comment to the City of Pocatello Planning and Development Services Department. Comments can be mailed to City of Pocatello ATTN: Planning and Development Services Department P.O. Box 4169, Pocatello, ID 83205-4169, or via email at planning@pocatello.us.
