A fire in Power County on Wednesday afternoon destroyed at least one combine and scorched parts of a field.
The blaze was first reported at approximately 3:05 p.m. in an agricultural field near the intersection of Gas Line and Ramsey roads. There were no reports of injuries and the fire was quickly contained.
Black smoke billowing from the fire could be seen from a far distance.
Fire crews from the Bureau of Land Management, American Falls, Fort Hall and Chubbuck reportedly responded to the scene.
